February, 2015 RichTech won the bidding of Tianwan nuclear power plant 3&4 unit project
As a key nuclear power construction project, Tianwan Nuclear Power Station is a large nuclear power station in Lianyungang prefecture level city, Jiangsu province, China. It is so far the largest technological and economic cooperation project between China and Russia in the area of nuclear power industry following the trend of strategic partnership cooperation.
In phase one construction of its main part, two reactor nuclear power units were installed and have been operated in good manner. With the highest single-unit capacity in China, the nuclear power station boasts an annual energy output of 16 billion kWh.
On March 23rd, 2010, China signed Tianwan nuclear power station 3&4 unit framwork contract with Russia. On December 7th, 2012, unit 3 passed FCD security test by the State Bureau of Nuclear Safety. On December 27th, 2012, unit 3 of phase two was put into construction. It is estimated that unit 3 and unit 4 under expansion project will be put into operation in February and December 2018 respectively.
